Give Help

Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by us is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work, particularly if they experiencing shortages – nothing goes to waste.

Our shopping list on the right shows the latest ‘urgently needed’ items – please take a look.

Drop Off Food

If you are happy to drop off food donations, our Warehouse is open from Monday to Thursday from 10am until 2.00pm to drop off donations, and our address is Unit 18, Millshaw Industrial Estate, Millshaw Park Avenue, Leeds LS11 0LR.

See Map Here

Our Foodbanks, which are located throughout East and South Leeds, also serve as Food Collection Points during their opening hours.

Help With Our Shopping

Like all Foodbanks, we do have to purchase some food to supplement the items kindly donated by the public, to ensure that we can provide a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food for everyone referred to us.

We appreciate that not all of our (potential) donors have the time or inclination to visit our Warehouse or to add volume to their own supermarket shop and that many will use online supermarket shopping and delivery, never seeing one of our Collection Points.

So that you can still support us, we are pleased to say that you can now donate money to our Bankuet account which, with your help, enables us to bulk purchase food at wholesale prices, and have it delivered direct to our warehouse. By donating to this site, you would be helping us purchase items on our shopping list!

Buy Something From our Amazon Wishlist

As a large number of our supporters use Amazon to make their own purchases, we have put together our own Amazon Wishlist which you can use to donate to our foodbank.

Our Amazon Wishlist is updated regularly to reflect our most needed items and/or seasonal requests.

Once you’ve accessed our Wishlist, add your selected items to the basket and when you proceed to the check out, make sure to choose our address.  Once the order has gone through, you will receive confirmation that your order is on its way to our Foodbank.

Supermarket Shopping and Collection

We are fortunate to have good working relationships with a number of Supermarkets located within our Community where you can purchase items from their stores and then donate them at our Collection Point located within the same store.

The White Rose Centre have also kindly agreed to act as a Collection Point for any items you may have purchased for us.

Details of these Collection Points are provided below.

Please do try and support us while you are shopping – all donations will be gratefully received and if you have time, take a quick look at our Shopping List – Thank You.
